Launch Status

Hoping for perfect weather on the 23rd. Bringing my Big Nuke 3E this time. It's first ever flight in New England. Come check it out!

The one thing you can count on about the weather, is that you can't count on the weather.  So we had a minor bandit launch instead... The best part was no Raid required.

Saturday's Bandit launch got underway around 11:30 AM with John P's perfect flight of his Phoenix. He also had excellent flights of his Leviathan and Sahara.

The highlight of my day was a good flight of my Leviathan II on an E30-4. The day ended at 1:30 PM with the flight of my MeanGreen on a C11-5.

At that point we had enough of the heat and getting bit on the ankles by these small but tenacious flies. For some reason, they left Linda alone.

The field was in great condition. Looks like it was recently mowed. The corn is still there but were didn't even come close to landing there.

As we ere leaving an RC person started setting up and the sun was out at that point.

All in all we had a fun time but we missed some of the usual Bandits that were not able to attend because they had adult responsibilities.

We are off to Amesbury.
